In memoriam...

As well as the many highlights and successes at the various cat shows, this year has been tinged with moments of great sadness with the loss of three very special cats - Champion Adviam Pinup Poppy (Poppy), Champion Enigmatic Tiptotoes (Tippy) and Richdale Tainted Love (Monty).

Poppy
Champion Adviam Pinup Poppy ( - 2010)

Poppy was from Atream Enigmatic Enya and Grand Champion Heatherbec Alfayed and always loved going to cat shows where she made champion and who was a little put out if she wasn't taken! She was a real mummies girl and was normally to be found close to me.

Poppy's first litter was of two boys, Oscar and Slinki Malinki, who live with my son and daughter, who has also adopted Poppy's mum since her retirement.
Tippy
Champion Enigmatic Tiptotoes (October 2006 - 2010)

Tippy was from Adcinam Bonnie Chance and Grand Champion Pashtan Spongebob and was an extremely affectionate girl who made headline news on the show circuit. After a modest outing in one show as a kittn she won three CCs and three best of breed rosettes at the first three shows that she went to as an adult. What a way to start a showing career!

Tippy was a favourite with my son-in-law and she would head straight for him whenever he would visit, but we aren't sure who had adopted who! Tippy was beset with dietary problems from being a kitten, mostly due to her being the baby of her litter. We tried breeding from Tippy but she never really got the hang of motherhood either.

Monty
Richdale Tainted Love (February 2007 - December 2010)

We lost our beloved boy on the 20th December 2010. We will always remember you Monty and you will never be replaced.

Thank you to Sylvia of Richdale Siamese for letting us have you, only a short time but you made a big impression which is carried on by your progeny your lovely, loving nature a champion of Siamese! Farewell x

Than never to have loved at all."
