We go to shows as often as possible and enjoy riding on the beach and handling the youngsters. We have two brood mares Tia, a part bred Welsh mare who we had at five years old for Chelsea to ride.

Tia is now 13 and provides companionship for my daughters horse but prior to that we have had two foals from her. Fernando, who was born in June 2009. He is out of a Connemara stallion and should make a nice show hunter pony.

Also out of a part bred Welsh is his half sister Maddie. She is three and we have started work with her and she is being backed ready to be sold as a 4 year old. We expect that Maddie will make a quiet children's pony.

Our other mare is an ex-racehorse broodmare, Dunmail Raise, she is at stud to CatherstonDance in the Dark. Hopefully we will get a nice sports horse from this union.


We also have Quinn who is a part bred Arab.
